Naturalia

Naturalia is an immersive installation that transports the viewer into a future untouched by humanity, where nature is supreme. Surrounding all walls is an abstract landscape from this imagined realm, showing endless details of plants, fungi, wetlands and skies. With motion-sensor lights, the painting comes to life and shifts colour, while UV lights allow aspects of the installation to glow from afar and up close. 
In the centre of the room stands a sculpture of a large mushroom tree species. Acting as a deity to this world, the sculpture sprouts smaller mushrooms from its trunk, glowing from below and above and beckoning the eerie soundscape of this place throughout.
